Kenai Juried Exhibit
March 2010
Eligibility
Adult Kenai Peninsula Borough residents.
Original drawings, prints, paintings, jewelry, watercolors, sculpture,
pottery, fiber, glass, mixed media and photographs are eligible.
Entries found to be unduly influenced while done under instruction,
copies, kit work or work shown in previous juried exhibits will be removed
from the exhibition.
Work must have been completed within the last two years.
Instructions
Fill out the entry form and labels in full. Each artist is limited to
a total of four entries. For framed works and fiber, attach labels on
back at upper right hand corner. On other works, attach label firmly
to underside when possible. Pictures must be framed and ready to hang.
Any framing device which does not cover glass edge cannot be accepted.

Members $15 - Non-members $25

Awards
Juror’s Choice and other cash awards will be at the discretion
of the juror.
Purchase awards will be selected by patrons who become owners of respective
artwork.
Conditions
Once art is accepted, it must remain for the duration of the exhibit.
The Peninsula Art Guild will deduct 20% (members) or 30% (non-members)
of all sales to help defray expenses.
While every precaution will be taken so that no damage occurs to entries,
neither the Art Guild nor the City of Kenai will be held responsible
for the loss or damage of any work submitted, nor will they be responsible
for items unclaimed at the end of the show.
Permission to reproduce images for catalog or publicity purpose is assumed.
Calendar
Submit entries ~ March 1st and 2nd , Noon ~ six.
Mailed entries must be sent prepaid and arrive by March 2nd.
Sufficient return postage and insurance coverage must accompany form.

Critique and Artist Reception
Thursday March 4th @ 6pm
Check Out of Artwork
Entries not accepted may be picked up by March 27th. Exhibited works
may be picked up after March 31st.
All pieces not retrieved by April 30th will automatically be donated
to the guild for fundraising.
