FINE ARTS CRITERIA

Peninsula Art Guild/Kenai River Council on the Arts

It is the hope that the Central Peninsula Art Community will benefit from the challenge of meeting the following criteria when seeking to display art in the Kenai Fine Arts Center SALES GALLERY:

1.Original, distinctive and unique

2.Technical excellence in design, composition and form

3.Superior craftsmanship

4.Unique, personal sensibility to the particular medium

5.Ready for display and sale; appropriate framing, packaging and labels

Works completed from kits, published plans, patterns or molds are not accepted at these galleries, but may be appropriate for the PAG Arts and Crafts Fair.

Art submitted for display will be reviewed by the Sales Gallery Coordinator. Notification as to acceptance will be sent to submitting artist as soon as possible.
