2010 Scholarships

 Once again the Kenai Peninsula Art Guild is offering visual arts scholarships to High School Seniors and College Students who are pursuing visual arts studies. Scholarship funds come from the annual Arts And Crafts Fair, and over the past many years have benefited quite a few of our local aspiring artist. The Peninsula Art Guild (PAG) is committed to the idea of nurturing the wide and varied talent that can be found on the Kenai Peninsula.

All applicants need to fill out an application, which can be found at the KFAC or by emailing Debbie Harris at daharris@gci.net. Part of the application process includes submitting a short (200-300 word) summary of your reason for pursuing a career in the arts, and what your future goals might be. Deadline for scholarship submission for the 2009-10 school year is May 30th.

In addition to the regular college related scholarships there is a limited number of scholarships available for shorter workshops. There is no set deadline, as we know workshops happen throughout the year. All we ask is that applications be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the event in order to get board approval in a timely manner.
